Unparalleled in the Baltic States, luxurious apartments designed by Donatas Rakauskas, the well-known architect, the implementation of which combines the latest technologies with time-tested materials and unique art installations. EGLĖ Apartamentai not only blends into the surrounding nature of the seashore, but also reproduces the irregular shapes prevailing in nature. World-renowned Lithuanian creators - artist Eglė Babilaitė, blacksmith Linas Leščiauskas and sculptor Martynas Gaubas - contributed to the perfect implementation of the idea of this project with their works.
The 8,200 m² four-storey building with an underground parking lot (2,135.50 m²) and bicycle storage, located in the cultural heritage area, features with a complex monolithic structure and a facade of curved lines reproducing the shapes and lines prevailing in coastal nature. The body of the first floor of the apartment building is made of individual parts with the world’s most expensive hand-made Petersen bricks reproducing the relief of a fir tree trunk chosen as a base. The second, third and fourth floors gain the total look by combining several building bodies. Curved panoramic windows custom-made for this project blend into the harmonious picture of the surrounding pine trees seamlessly. In the elevator installed in the apartment building, a record-sized, 19 meters high fresco painting with integrated lighting by the artist Eglė Babilaitė, specially created for this project, is spread across all floors of the building.
The materials and engineering solutions used for the construction and furnishing of the building with 73 residential apartments met the highest aesthetic and quality requirements precisely. Comprehensive solutions have been implemented to ensure the security of the apartments, starting with biometric locks ending with a high-level surveillance system installed throughout the area.
